I awoke early, but had a very difficult time getting out of bed. After about 40 minutes of hitting the snooze on my alarm clock, my one cat threw up. I got up, fed them, scooped their litter, and cleaned up the cat puke. I got ready and left. Today I had to drive to work because I had to stay late. We had an open house at 7:00pm and I had no desire to walk to the train station in the dark. Work was good. I got a lot of grading done as I waited for the open house to start. Because I’m a special area teacher, very few people were interested in what I had to say. When I was over, I drove home.
When I got home, I was exhausted. I opened the door and there was puke everywhere, and I mean everywhere. I didn’t even think there was enough room in a cat stomach to store all the brownish-liquid that I found on the floor. Two of them contained hairballs, but otherwise, I couldn’t figure out why she threw up. I got really annoyed at having to clean it up and really worried about her. I finally just started to get back on my feet financially, but I wasn’t quite ready to pay for a visit to the vet. Now I had no choice. Then I went to the bathroom to discover that although I had scooped the litter before I left, one of the cats peed on the floor anyway. There was also something resembling diarrhea on the floor as well. This was not helping my place smell any better. I just hoped that the smell didn’t waft upstairs.
I had arrived home around 10:00 and got to bed around 10:30pm. That was not nearly long enough to get a good night’s sleep.
